The butyl rubber surround supports the subwoofer during cone excursion resulting in low distortion of the bass notes even when the music is turned up loud. With a mounting depth of only 3-5/16”, this subwoofer will fit in spaces regular subwoofers will not. This subwoofer has a 2Ω impedance useful for getting most out of a mono amp or for building multi-subwoofer installations.
